The
Department of Mental Health and Substance Dependence is in the
process of developing a manual aimed at assisting countries
develop legislation which promotes and protects the human rights
of persons with mental disabilities. Training and other forms of
support to countries on how to implement the manual will be
conducted once it is finalized.
